Caravansaray Rashid, Bukhara

Hotel Caravansaray RashidBukhara is an amazing ancient city through which huge caravans passed and active auctions were held here. In the 19th century, a rich merchant named Abdurashid built a famous caravanserai and named it after himself - Rashid. The caravanserai is located in the heart of Bukhara near the Sarrafon trading dome. Since the 19th century, the richest merchants in the world have stayed in the Rashid Caravanserai. And here a huge bazaar was unfolding. Tea, silk, and indigo dyes imported from Europe and Asia were sold. The aromas of tea and dye attracted all the merchants of the city.
The Rashid caravanserai was one of the largest inns. Fragrant tea was sold daily in the center of the courtyard, as well as tea tasting. In 2018, the complete reconstruction of the building began. To date, the Caravanserai Rashid Hotel has reopened its doors to all guests arriving in fabulous Bukhara.
